Cupid's MelodyFinalist in Affaire de Coeur's Reader/Writer Poll for Best Supernatural Romance 2nd place Winner of the PRISM Award for Best Fantasy 3rd Place Winner of the Bookseller's Best Award for Best Paranormal "Set aside a few hours and prepare to be transported to the
wonderful, magical world of Karen Fox. Once you start reading you won't want to
stop. Previous readers will definitely want to add this one to their collection
and new readers will feel compelled to go out and get all previous books."
Faery Nic Stone had no idea he was about to make the mistake of his eternal life when he asked the Queen of the Fae to grant immortality to his beautiful bride, Anna. To become immortal, he discovered only too late, Anna first had to die and then be reborn... It has taken twenty-five years for Nic to re-enter the mortal world to search for his lost love, but he is convinced that he has finally found her. After all, Dianna Fielding is the spitting image of his wife. Masquerading as her gardener, he vows to seduce her heart all over again. But why is it her sister Stacy, who makes him ache with that all-too-familiar longing? Either someone has cast a spell on him, or Nic is falling in love with the wrong woman. If he follows the stirrings of his heart, will he find true love--or will his beloved be lost to him forever? Jove Magical Love Review Quotes for Cupid's Melody"Cupid's Melody is an enjoyable romantic
fantasy with great characters. ...I found Cupid's Melody entertaining and I
recommend it." "Delightful mix of humor and
romance. Cupid's Melody is a delightful read. Every woman needs a man
like Nic. With the wave of his hand and a few words, he can clean the house, do
the gardening, eliminate pesky pixies (I loved the pixies!), and whisk you off
to Paris for a candlelight dinner and some site-seeing." "Magic here and magic there, spells and counter-spells galore!
But when [Nic's] forced to use just his innate talents as a lover, Nic needs no
magic, just his lips and...stamina. Now if he could just figure out which woman
to be using them on... That's what make Cupid's Melody an excellent
and entertaining magical romance." "A wonderful fast-paced, sensual story of an eternal love, this story holds the reader entranced from the first paragraph to the final words, "I love you more." The fae characters are so "fleshed out" that they become real. We get caught up in the spells ourselves and expect to hear pixies causing mischief in the other rooms of our homes. Nic's magical abilities become as believable as the reader will allow them to be. Ms. Fox has a pronounced talent for
storytelling in the magical realm. It can't be easy to write such a "real"
story of another world, without having been there. Or has she? Is that where
her talent comes from? Either way, I certainly hope that she keeps writing.
I'll keep reading and re-reading her stories for an escape from my day to day
existence into her world." "FIVE STARS!! With a unique twist on the
reincarnation theme, Ms. Fox recreates the legend of Tam Lin, a mortal woman
battling the queen of the Fair Folk for her lover's heart. You will truly feel
both the lightness of the general story as well as the tragic circumstances that
seem to be conspiring against the lovers' happiness." "From the beginning to end, Cupid's
Melody hits every note. Skillfully blended, the light-hearted moments of
pure fun do not lessen the deeper emotional impact of the story. Cupid's
Melody once again demonstrates Karen Fox's skillful ability to craft
lively, imaginative books that will magically transport you into the developing
story and the story into your heart." "Karen Fox created a fabulous read by
mixing Nic's determination to find his true love with an evil faery queen, a
group of ill-behaved pixies, and some helpful pillywiggins. She topped it off
by adding sexual tension and humor. Kick back and enjoy." "...Karen Fox has her own unique style,
and those who have read her previous Fae tales, Prince of Charming and
Buttercup Baby will no doubt be delighted with the newest offering.
Nic is a delightful hero, more than handsome, sexy, and talented, he has heart.
Stacy has her own special appeal. Though not as beautiful, or as talented as
her sister, she has far more depth and warmth. The reader is sure to fall in
love with them as I did." "Cupid's Melody...is a delightfully whimsical and
amusing fantasy romance. The story line will charm the audience... The
strength of this tale resides with the characters. Readers will adore the
endearing Nic as he faces a dilemma that could mean his existence and hiss at
the mischievously devious Titania who always has one more trick up her sleeve.
The two sisters are interesting as they cause readers to share with Nic in his
predicament. Karen Fox enchants her audience with this enjoyable reading
happening." "Cupid's Melody is a delightful, imaginative novel.
Ms. Fox has created a reality with flower fairies, very mischievous pixies and
an extremely treacherous queen. It is light-hearted and humorous on one hand,
but has a deep love story with painful consequences for Nic and Anna if he
doesn't choose correctly. The characters are wonderful, and it is fun to
accompany them as they unravel all the twists and turns that Titania has placed
in their path. Nic is a great hero. He is strong, masculine, handsome, and
has enough magical abilities to make any woman fall in love with him (and all
her fantasies come true). I am definitely going to look for Ms. Fox's
backlist!" "The enchanting yet sometimes dangerous world of the Fae is once
again explored in Karen Fox's delightful new novel. Fox has a gift for infusing
her stories with warmth and charm. 4 stars!" "An exceptional plot and refreshing characters make Cupid's
Melody an excellent book to curl up with this winter." "FIVE STARS!! If possible, this second romp in the magical
Faery realm is even better than the first! The reader knows immediately who the
real Anna is, but also understands how Nic can believe it is Dianna. The author
added chaos by throwing mischievous Pixies into the mix. This gives the readers
many humorous scenes that are as enchanting as the "Lost Love Found" plot. I
cannot recommend this magical romance highly enough!" Readers Speak"I loved your book Cupids Melody. I read it
in four hours, I just couldn't put it down, gosh I loved it sooo much. I
loved how you made us fall in love with the characters. I loved how I got
so mad at Nic because he was trying to go after the wrong girl, I don't know
how many times I threw the book across the room...haha. Thank you so much
for the joy I got from reading your book. I plan on reading Prince of
Charming next. Thank you again your an awesome writer!" "Cupid's Melody is still my absolute favourite! I do
love all your other books too!" "I love your Novel in this story, i feel the romance so deep
and i learn a lot too about how i can treat a girl, you really understand
how a girl's feeling and how they want to be treated, and i deeply praised
you for that. But overall, i love how you can present the emotional feeling
in a very deep way, which is only certain author has the skill on. You are
one of them, keep up the good work. I am looking foward to read more about
your book when i go to the bookstore." " I just read ur book "Cupid's Melody", it was so
incredible! I loved your book. I love romance novels, but the faery mix was
just, a match only made out of this realm...lol. Ok, corny I know but this
book has totally ABSORBED me. I bought it last night and couldn't stop
reading it. The passionate attraction and electricity between Nic and Stacy
was more than I could handle. More then I've ever seen between two
characters, EVER! I got and read at least till page fifty, last night, but
had to stop because I had work today, and then today I got ready quick and
have fifteen minutes to spare before I had to go, so I read up, soaking
every free moment till I was summoned to work. "i just wanted to say that i picked up Cupid's Melody
today and started reading it. in fact i am also finished reading it lol. the
book was great i loved it!!! can't wait to read the other novels!" "I finished CUPID'S MELODY some time ago, then the kiddos
got a viral bug or something, and I haven't had much time for email. Anyway, I
just wanted to let you know I thoroughly enjoyed the book and that I'm looking
forward to reading the next book." "Wow! I can't believe I was so lucky as to come across this
book! It is a great love story. I cried, I laughed, I bit my nails, I sighed
and I got exasperated. I read the book in less than 12 hours (including a few
hours of sleep and classes inbetween). The story is beautiful and
heartwarming. I loved every minute of it and my only regret is that there
wasn't more!" "...I have to say your books are so wonderful. I love them ALOT.
Every moment in the book [is] fun, full of excitement and creative. When I
start to read, I could never let it down. I really can imagine your faery very
well in each book. Anyway, I wish you have more stories to release. I'm
always waiting for it." "I just wanted to say that I finished the sequel to
Buttercup Baby and I loved it!! In fact, I found that I liked it even
better than the first book. I can hardly wait for the next book! Thanks for
doing such a great job on Cupid's Melody." "I'm writing in just after finishing Cupid's Melody and
I love that book! I was at one of the major bookstores in Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia, and was scanning the first few pages, and I couldn't put it down! I
had to buy the book, plus I've treated myself to another book of yours,
Buttercup Baby. I'm sure it's going to be just as great.! I found
Cupid's Melody to tug at my heartstrings, made me laugh, shed a
few tears, and made me sigh. Thanks for a great book, I really, really enjoyed
it. Hats off to you, ma'am." "I just wanted you to know that I thoroughly enjoyed Cupid's
Melody!!! I just bought it last night at Waldenbooks and finished it this
afternoon! LOL. I just love to re-enter this world you have created! Can't
wait for the next story of Rose and Brandon's." "I really enjoyed this book. Had to read it in one day. Glad
that I had the day off or I would have missed out on some sleep." Why Did I Write This Book?Every since I wrote Prince of Charming, I wanted to write a book about Nic, Robin Goodfellow's friend. But Nic was already happily married and I knew Anna was the woman for him. Where was the story in that? It took some major brainstorming and some what if's to figure it out. What if Nic asked Titania to give Anna eternal life? What if Titania agrees? What if the price of this life is that Anna has to die and be reborn as an immortal? What if the reincarnated Anna grows up with no memory of Nic? Sounded like fun to me and Cupid's Melody was born.
